COOKING COURSE Ready to cook?

YOUR PERSONAL Cooking lessons, COURSES:

1) Tuscan Cooking

Each lesson will talk about a menu typical of our regions. We will talk about Florentine cooking, Siena and Chianti region from Pisa, Lucca, Maremma and Lunigiana.
We will teach making crostini, soupa (ribollita, pappa al pomodoro...) beef stew, brased... and typical cakes. (€60.00 each person)

2) Italian Cooking

each lesson will show how to cook the typical cooking of the Italian family.
So we will prepare home made pasta (tagliatelle, lasagne, ravioli...) risotti, soup and another typical first courses (gnocchi...) souce (pesto, meat sauce, vegetable sauce...) meat (beef stew, brased, scaloppine....) vegetables and deserts (tiramisù, crème caramel panna cotta….). . (€ 60.00 each person)

3) First courses

The course about soups, gnocchi, ravioli, risotti, fresh pasta (tagliatelle, lasagne…) and polenta. . (€ 50.00 each person

4) Vegetables

The aim of the course is extolling seasoned vegetables, for exemple during the winter, we will cook cabbage and artichokes; during
the Spring , asparagus and peas and in the Summer to-
matoes, eggplants, peppers,courgettes. We start with
entreè and we finish with cake.
All with vegetables! . (€ 50.00 each person)

Cooking classes begin at 6 a.m. at my cooking studio on Via Ro-
mana, near Piazza Pitti. Classes are limited to 4 students. (Larger classes available for private groups or at your villa.)

Your group of friends will be able to prepare appetizers,
home made pastas, second courses, side dishes and des-
serts with great fun! At the end of each lesson you will be able to taste what you have prepared being proud of your own work.

Having cooking classes with Varinia will let you realize that cooking is easy, healthy and fun, and once back home you will be able to astonish your friends with Italian recipes and Italian cooking art! Varinia teaches with great passion the simplicity of recreating ancient customs and traditions into a grand contemporary feast. For my cookingdemonstra-
tions and lessons I bring my home cooking and family specialties into your Tuscan kitchen. You choose the dishes that you would love to learn to make and after our cooking session we sit around your table with some wine and indulge in our creations.
Under expert guidance the students learn the secrets to make up several dishes, following every stage step by step.
Starting from the single ingredients, they learn to blend them into a harmonious whole. The resulting dish stimulates the senses one by one: sight (the way in which the food is presented), smell (its scents), touch (cold-hot, crisp-tender contrast) and finally taste (flavours’ harmony and balance).
Particular attention is paid both to cooking times and temperatures, and to traditions and historical origins of each recipe.
The way in which the food is presented is very important too. In fact an accurate presentation favours the success of a dish, as it appetize for a better tasting.
